Southeast User Group Leaders Summit, October 24, 2009

This unconference-style event is for technology-based user and community groups in the Southeast and is patterned after the Northeast summit - http://neugsummit2009.pbworks.com/. The goal of this event is to share tips and discuss the issues and challenges facing technology groups regardless of the actual technology the group is focused on, such as finding locations, getting speakers, seeking out sponsorship, growing membership, hosting special events, etc.

See Glen Gordon's post for the initial premise of this event and Chris Bowen's post for a summary of the Northeast event.

User Groups Attending -  Due to space and organizational limitations, we have to cap attendance at 120, so we respectfully ask that groups limit their attendees to two(2) organizers or that you are someone who is interested in starting a new group.

Groups to contact - Please list groups or people that you think would be interested in SEUGLS, so we don't miss anyone who should be invited.

Session Ideas - This does not commit you to *presenting* a session, but is for gathering ideas on what people would like to discuss.

Preferred Hotels in Alpharetta.pdf - This is a PDF (60Kb) containing a list of hotels close to the event location that have special "Microsoft" rates and some have shuttle transportation to the Microsoft office.
